Updating Date Format

I would like to suggest the date format be changed to yyyy-mm-dd?
I find that the year is usually available, sometimes the month...
and you are SUPER lucky if you EVER find the day.

Thanks!

Hi Linda,

I'm sorry to say our date format was just recently changed, so it's unlikely we will change it again soon.

I just joined yesterday. Sorry I missed out on the vote!!!!!

Although.... it didn't look like any of the proposed formats were YYYY-MM-DD..... lol
Hi Linda,

That has been suggested as the ISO standard, and therefore a good international standard. But many people would be confused by a date like 2016-09-07. They wouldn't immediately know if it was September 7 or July 9.
