Possibly. My Wagner decendents came to NY in the largest migration at the time in 1710. Their home was Dachsenhusen near the Rhine river. During the next 12 years they moved up the Hudson finally settling in Palatine Bridge along the Mohawk River.
Many Wagner decendents still live in the area. The stone home built by Johan Peter in 1750 still stands in good condition and just more than 110 years later my great grand uncle built a high victorian home which was placed on the national historic list in 1973 and is being demolished at this time.
