Regarding "Wilson", do you have is full name to share? Was he born in Ireland and would you know what year he was born?

This is the information I have about their son.  The Wilsons were descendants of James Graham, of Kirkcubright, Scotland, fled to Ireland around or before 1800.  McClellans were also from that area.

Robert Wilson was my Great Great Grandfather.  He married Ruth McLellan, daughter of Sir Francis Hopkins, Baronet of Skryne Castle, Tara, County Meath, Ireland.

He was of Scottish Descent, living in Ireland.  They had eight children: William, Robert Samuel, John, Charles, Catherine, Ruth and Mary Ann. When Robert, my Great Grandfather was 10, he signed up as a cabin boy on a ship sailing to America. His father was distraught, and decided he didn't want to split up the family so he said they would all go. They landed in Rochester, NY and went subsequently to Goderich area of Ontario, Canada where they farmed.  As the story goes, they got caught up in some Fenian raids and left Canada for Glenwood, Minnesota. Robert Wilson married Margaret Peacock in Minnesota, Margaret's brother Robert Peacock married Ruth Wilson so that family of Peacocks and Wilsons were double cousins.

I have not been able to positively identify my Great Gread Grandfather's parents.
