I can't remember who was helping me with my search for my Grandmother Bates's first name, but I do want to thank you. The immigration of my aunt for a visit turned out to be correct and with some assistance from the Library and Archives in Canada I was able to locate and verify my grandmother's death certificate which also gave me her parents names and I've been on a major adventure ever since (well this last week). Thank you again for your assistance :)
p.s. I was totally able to remove her from the Unknown Unknown problem along with two of her relatives :)
