My dilemma ?

Question

I "inherited" a large volume of Profiles. I elected to pursue my Paternal line. Came to stop with

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Henderson-10065. No known parents.Ended up at:  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Henderson-1383, with correction, http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/138575/correction-henderson-c1630-1692-profile-henderson-1383.

Assuming James Sr is an ancestor, tried to trace backwards using sons, wives, siblings and the more I attempted, the more confused I became.

Need help, far beyond my new and very limited talent.

3 generations of immigrants in one line.  You need to know what the American primary sources for these immigrants are, and how you know they're related.

That's what I'm trying to determine. Trying to decide which "William" was the actual son.
