G2G: Who are the parents of Jacob Herring?

Question

Jacob Herring was born in about 1798 and died 10 May 1864 in Selbysport, MD, USA. I'm suspecting that he may have been born in Germany, or his parents were German immigrants.

I found 2 possibilities but I don't know exactly when he was born except 1798 but the 2 that are mostly likely and are a guess is --------  Johann Jacob Hoering born 9 Nov. 1798 and christening date. Parents are Johannes Hoering and Maria  Juliana.

the 2nd is Peter Jacob Hering born and christening date 16 June 1797 Evangelische, Bosenbach, Pfalz, Bavaria. Father is Philipp Jakob Hering and mother Philippine Hering.

Those are the 2 most likely but there were some that came up and born and died in Germany, so I didn't count those and I didn't count anyone from 1795 or 1796. So If you need more help, just let me know. Nancy
