Looks about 100% United States.
Really RJ

Further to what Dale said below and to RJ's wicked good sense of humor? People from the US are made up of so many different areas of the world that there is no truly US DNA. We all come from somewhere else as far as the DNA Goes.

You might want to checkout the GenoGraphic Project from National Geographic for more information about our origins.

Thank you mags

Great ideas

I don't mine showing my results with you guys
Hello Lori,

Regarding showing your results, be sure to upload to MitoSearch and adding your MitoSeach ID to your DNA Tests page in WikiTree.  Also add your reported haplogroup.

Thanks and sincerely, Peter
Hi peter

Haplogroup said n/a

MitoSearch ID where that located? Exact spot find it?

Login to your myFTDNA  account at Family Tree DNA.   At the bottom of your mtDNA Matches page is a button linking to Upload to MitoSearch.  Click it and add your e-mail, earliest known ancestor, link to your ancestry in WikiTree, etc.  Then click save.

If you get an error message when saving then don't try to upload to MitoSearch ID again. Instead go to

www.mitosearch.org/search_start.asp?providerkey=542060

and if you uploaded and saved to MitoSearch then you should now be able to see your MitoSearch ID.

Mine doesn't include it cost $199 for it

But I found it

You think $99 DNA test do more

Mtdna not part package drat
A Family Finder test only costs $99 (now $79).  So I'm unsure why you paid $199.

If you know you only ordered Family Finder then contact Family Tree DNA and ask them why you paid $199.  Ask them to add on a mtDNAPlus for $79 (they will use your DNA already in storage).
No I didn't pay $199

It was $99 one we got :)

Lori, Ignore RJ, he seems very anti American. He is correct in this case because there is no such thing as "United States" DNA. The United States is a country made up of immigrants from other areas so our DNA had to come from somewhere else, I do not have the percentages off hand but I have a lot of German and UK DNA in me as that is where most of my ancestors came from.

Just an added comment, I have at least 3 ancestors who fought in the American Revolution, 1 was of German ancestry and fought on the American side, 1 fought for the British, and 1 fought for the American side but was of English ancestry.
