Can someone please merge Mayer-851 and Mayer-1720 [closed]

Question

Mayer-851 had a typo in the date of death.. 0212 instead of 2012,

I couldn't correct the error, so I figured I'd create a duplicate profile with the appropriate corrections, and merge them. System still won't let me merge the profiles because it thinks the profile is pre 1500.
Could someone simply merge the two profiles. Mayer-1720 has the correct information.

Giles, If you change the security setting for Mayer-851 to Open, someone can change the date for you. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Privacy .

Our community has very strict requirements for editing pre-1500 profiles in our shared tree. Thank you for understanding.

I can not change the privacy setting.. I can<t change anything. Because of the typo... 212 instead of 2012.  the system seems to think it<s a pre 1500 profile and won<t let me modify it.

someone has started a merge between the two profies... I just need someone to confirm the merge and everything willl be ok.

I think you need Specific Arborists / Leader help for this merge because you are trying to merge away a lower number profile. So Sorry that I can't help you more.

Profiles w/ the same LNAB should always be merged into the lowest number. Perhaps if you:

1. Reverse the merge (into the lower number)

2. A Pre 1500s Badge holder could then Request to join this profile's Trusted List for Mayer-851. so the date can be changed. Then complete the merge into the lowest #.

I fixed the death date. You should be able to merge them now.
