who would beused as a spouse for the husband if he was married two times?

example:   Makek-195 married the following

wife 1 -  Janisch-32 married on 16 Jun 1868 but died on 3 Aug 1900

wife 2-  Janisch-37 married on 11 Sep 1900.

Each wife had 4 children. and would all 8 children go under Marek-195 as his children?  I think that all children would go under Marek-195. am I right or wrong and does matter if I did that. . they are Marek-195 children but from 2 different marriages. not sure which wife to use.  thanks

Hi Robert,

You should enter both.  Since you already have Janisch-32 listed as his wife, I would complete that by entering the children from that marriage.

While on Joseph's profile page, go to edit...When the edit page is open, you'll see Spouses: on the right side of the page.  To the right of that, you'll see (add/remove a spouse).  When you click on that, a page will open to add a spouse.  Enter Janisch-37 in the box requesting WikiTree ID, then hit GO.  Janisch-37 will then appear as second spouse when you click on Add Spouse for Joseph Marek at bottom of page. When you're ready, you can add the children for that marriage.

Good Luck!
