Can we add an alert or warning when birth date of child is later than death of mother?

I have found some records where the date of birth for the child is later than the date of death for the mother.

In this case the father was married several times and the child belongs to wife #2 not wife #1.  A simple warning would alert the profile manger that there is a problem.

OK - I would like it for the death of father as well, but add 9 months or so.

Hi Philip,

Yes, this would be a great thing to add.

In the meantime, if you're technically inclined, Roland Arsenault did an external script for this: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:WikiTree_Enhancements

Another similar way to do this - Import the WikiTree exported gedcom into another program with this capability. I use myHeritage and Gramps. MyHeritage has a nicer user interface and is a little more user friendly, but Gramps has much more powerful validation capabilities and other features. There are validation settings for age at marriage, birth of child, death, time between siblings, between generations, etc.
