How come every severed line I have encountered has a big giant bank

Why is it that every severed line I encounter has a big giant bank sitting in escheat? Is this just a coincidence? From the Choates, McKean to the Campbells. Is this for real? Let me guess there is a big giant rule book over doing genealogy right?

My bad. I went through a Ca/Ny licensing purge and secured my ucc1 so I have a hard time seeing jurisdiction other than from global. I'll try to correct my errors and eliminate edits in the future
WikiTree Genealogists are the most helpful. You can ask for help in G2G anytime, lots of others are grateful to help too. :)  I'll have a look to see if I might be able to help the Profiles you Manage. (I never knew about ucc1 until I googled it, Arrrrgh). JPV IV :)

Hey-Yea :0) http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McKean-253 profile looks to have good Source. :)
