How do I delete my GEDCOM or merge myself if I keep getting an error message

Question

D-493 is my original account. I new to merge with my correct last name at birth profile. I have figured out how to delete my GEDCOM because the 2 GEDCOM's I found were both too large. I am getting an error message that says I have GEDCOM that has not been processed or deleted. I have been copying & pasting the sources and manually entering ancestors. I don't mind as this gives me a chance to have a second look at the information I have collected. I know I  will lose the amount of contributions I have already made. I would like to complete this merge so I continue making contributions.

D-493 merge to Alley-1159.

I think you have found a bug in WikiTree

1. The GEDCOM looks deleted

Cant you just add yourself Alley-1159 as profile manager for the profiles of D-493? and let D.493 be a unconnected person....

Go to the bottom of your old profile page.   Click the initiate a change link.  On that page you can enter the current profile id and merge.
