Is John Salmon Quick, born in Ohio on 12 Dec. 1818, a grandson of any of the Salmon women here?

John Salmon Quick's father was John Quick, born 1801 in Ohio, who was a son of Cornelius Quick born 1770 in Pennsylvania.  John Quick's wife was Lavina, born in North Carolina, although she may be a second or third wife. Cornelius's wife was Hannah., born in New Jersey, probably.

John Quick is in the US 1880 Census taken at Pipe Creek, Madison, IN. He is 79y old. He was born in OH. Spouses name is shown as Melvina 61y. She was born in NC. His father and mother were born in NJ.

1870 US Census his wife's first name is spelled, Lavina, 51y born NC. Children are Milllie, Louisa and Ellie, all born in Indiana.

In 1860, he's is still living in Pipe Creek, Madison, IN. 

1850 US Census has John Quick, 49y living in Fall Creek, Henry, IN. Wife Lavina is 31. Eight children are there as well as Cornelius 80y b PA, Hannah 80y born NJ.r 

This does not answer you question, but may offer some new information.
