These 2 census records from familysearch.org may or may not be your line. There is a Chalen Chamberlain wife Lucinda and children in the 1850 census.
In 1870 - "Chilian" and Lucinda Chamberlain are living in a household that is next to son George W Chamberlain and his family, is you look at the census image.

My Maternal Grandparents were Chamberlains. My Great Grandfather(Asher C) was born(1860?) and lived in Frankford, DE and married Mary Ann Long and they had 3 or 4 more children I have names for. In some census data the name is Chamberlin but are the same people. I need to go forward..1960+ and backwards...1860 and before.
I was born in 1946 and have 3 female Chamberlain cousins(all born in 40s) I am looking for.
Regards,
John W Long
It is true yet funny that my Great grandfather Chamberlain married a Long. My Long roots come from that area of DE and many Longs were from Sussex County.
