Ancestry has a birth certificate for a Cleavie Arvezine Handley born in Wayne County Tennessee, but her father is George Monroe Handley not John William. Her birth certificate says she was 'white.' In the 1900 census George and his wife Mary are all 'white'. George is also white in 1880 census.
