Abby, is there a place I can go to get only North Carolina unsourced?
Perfect!  Thanks, Abby.
I was able to get in a few sources. Spent most of the time searching dead ends. My only resource was FamilySearch.org.

It wasn't clear to me how to coordinate with anyone on the team. I'm not even clear how to use these "threads".

Well, I hope it's been a successful weekend for sourcing!

E. McCraw

The email I received said to "Add the profile's WikiTree ID to your G2G tracking post." I have no idea how to do this. Here are the profiles that I was able to source:  Volck-45, Stone-6024, Tharp-790. If someone who understands that instruction would add them for me, I would be grateful.

Abby,

Is there anywhere we can keep up with how many have been done by each team?  Or at least how many our team has done?

Thanks,

Alison
Hi Alison,

The "team" running things has a spreadsheet that we're continuously updating, and many teams are giving us periodic updates in the Teams G2G thread linked above on the main post. Right now, it looks like the latest total for the Carolina Cousins is 72.
If you go to this link: http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/301761/source-a-thon-teams-list?start=20, I think you are supposed the put the profile IDs for the profiles that you sourced in a comment/answer? under the Carolina Cousins section. It's all very confusing to someone who doesn't use threads/forums.
It's all finished now, Elizabeth, for this year. We hope to do some more in the future, though!
I included that for the tally...

Hi Carolina Cousins! My Saturday is booked, so I'm going to get on super early and start chugging away. If you're having trouble with a name, I'd love to help, I have an active Ancestry.com membership (for now). I love this site! Go us!

1. and 2. Finished Lindsey-803 and also took care of sourcing for her husband Setzer-94.  I put all the sources in the Sources section.  Will get to others, as I can.  Sort of hard to do those born in 1700s with any accuracy in a short time.   Had to take a break to root for USA in the Ryder Cup.

3. and 4.  Working on Frank Howard Griffis]]  Griffis-178.  Finished Frank Howard and also did his father Lucius Griffis (Griffis-179).  Find it easier to do family members together. Lucious may need so more work sometime.  He may have had several wives, fought for the CSA and outlived his wives.

5.  working on Richard Barnes, IV  Barnes-4095.   Finished what I can Sketchy details on the Family.  Many black families with the same names in Davidson County.  No Tombstone records, just a 1850 Cenus and some family stories and Davidson County Genealogical Society info that was in hard copy only.

6. working on Mary Ann Edwards, Edwards-2475

I am sorry I am slow at this.  I spend a lot of time getting original sources and adding a biography with footnoted sources.  Unless there is a photo of the tombstone on Find a Grave, you never know how reliable the information is.

It looks like we finally overloaded Family Searh. Records search is responding with an overloaded response.

Hi G,
Will you "edit" this answer to add more contributions, instead of "answering" the question reach time? Then, you can also "comment" on your answer as needed, too. Thanks!

(I am going to hide your previous posts so everyone's answers stay on this first page)
Fantastic contributions, G!
Slow is a-okay! Quality is important-you're doing great.

Nice contributions, Alison! Did you know you can hit that "edit" link on your comments to add more contributions to each comment, until you max out the character count? It's a handy little tip.
Thanks for the tip Abby.
