Barbara,

My name is Cynthia Joslyn Bishop.  Henry used to visit my family with his dog Lady in Queensbury NY.  At the time he drove a VW bus.  He would occasionally lecture at our community church.  I was very young; but Henry made quite an impression on me!  Someplace I have a photo of him.  I enjoyed reading the referenced article.

Henry was a frequent visitor to my parents in Connecticut in the 50's. They shared an intense love of nature and I remember Henry showing his films in our house.
Hello. My name is Yvette Gosselin Stewart.  My grandmother was Dorothy Briggs Gosselin.   Henry Brigg’s sister. We used to look forward to,”Uncle Henry”’s visits to Bangor.  Any info that you have to share with my family would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Yve

My mother was Marguerite ( Briggs ) Garrison  , Henry's

sister.  I knew him well, he stayed here before he died.

My name is Bruce Kittredge. Henry used to visit my parents in Connecticut in the 1950's. I also remember him being at Bill Parson's dairy farm in Skowhegan. I'm not sure but I think he lived there for awhile. We canoed and fished on the river there.
Henry Briggs was my uncle on my dads side...he would come and do slide shows of the Allagash when I was very young..now I collect vintage cameras and shoot with them
Henry was my uncle too..step brother to my father Eugene Southard Marsh
I wonder if he would be the same film maker who recorded the relationship between wolves and migrating caribou in Alaska and may have filmed the last pulpwood drive on west branch of the Pennobscot?
Henry Wareham Briggs B-1907 D-1987 in Bangor lived in Newport, Maine which isn't far from somerset county
Does anyone know if he specifically made the film about the relationship between wolves and migrating caribou? I'm just trying to verify if this is the same man I saw present at our school in the '60's

good find Frank, most likely the correct one and he'd be an old man in WII compared to all the boys who served.

Henry W. Briggs probably born in 1908-09 and graduated as president of his class of 1927 of East Corinth Academy, Corinth, Maine, was definitely a wildlife photographer.  He traveled all around Maine giving talks and show his photos.

Have created the profile for Henry Wareham Briggs 1906-1987, Briggs-7324. I also created his parents. Looked and saw no easy connection to the main tree.

Once the profile is made which I see someone did, I recommend studying this to see how to add sources.
