Hi Martin William Graham was b.about 1836 in Maghercross County Femagh Ireland thanks Terry
ok   i believe i have the family   they arrived between 1847 and 67  travelling with J and J Cooke   however if im reading this right it says quebec   is there a quebec in australia   dont laugh   cause i found a sydney in canada   if there is the family came over together

william and anne then children Mary 11 Jane 9 John 6 Anne 4 and william 9 mths   am i on the right track
ok if this is the family anne would have married underage and arrived in the late 60`s
Hi no there is no Quebec in Australia but i think you are on the right track i havent put them all on my tree yet but William and Annie had the children you mentioned so maybe they stopped in Quebec on their way to Australia is this possible and thank you ,you have found  much more information than i have Terry
Hi Martin would this of been normal practice to marry under age thank you so much for all your research i find  Irish Ancestors are one of the hardest to find and i have quiet a few Terry
this family are listed as from enniskillen  which is the major town  6 miles from the parish you mentioned       if you have the date of birth for william the youngest you will have the year of travel   and can go from there
it is a possibility    but i`m talking between the age of say 17 to 21   hear    it would have been marked in the parish reg that she was under age at the time   i would suggest you look at askaboutireland.ie   griffiths valuation    it will possibly lead you to the actual farm or house they lived in
Thank you Martin i will have a look were you suggested  yes i do have the year of William 1866 so i will see what i can find thank you once again for all the info and putting me on the right track Terry
spot on for 1867 then    i have one location for the family i would say it had wealth   the griffiths valuation was done 1862    there are 3 lots of land in knockmanoul  and 1 in drumsloe  i have the map for Drumsloe    but finding it hard to loacate the town land knockmanoul    send email if youd like pictures

Janet (Mrs. Beattie) Knox was born in either Emyvale, Monaghan Co., Ireland or possibly Dublin in 1726. She married Walter Bell about 1745 at Emyvale, Monaghan, Ireland.

Maybe you can help clarify whether Janet Knox was born in Dublin or Emyvale, Monaghan Co. She and Walter Bell are my 5th g grandparents. She is said to be of the same family as John Knox the Scottish reformer.

Thank you.
