Do you know what city in Essex, England they were from? Were they both born in Essex, England? Do you know the year they were born? Do you know where they traveled to?

Would you have the name of a spouse for either or both men? Marriage year and location could help pinpoint an answer to your question.

1599-1790.  I have no brother for my Richard Bush who was from  Fairfield, NJ and born in Passaic 7 Feb 1756. It seems that our Bush family hailed from Denmark originally.  So perhaps you have an English Bush that settled in the southern states. It would be helpful to know their religion.  If they were Catholic they would have gone to Maryland, If Anglican, Virginia and Carolinas... etc.  Dutch or Hugeunots or Walloons settled in Upper New York state along the Hudson, New Amsterdam ( NY) and New Jersey after 1695.

I know most of the Bush family from New York and New Jersey if that is helpful.
