I assumed that most Bruces descended from the family line. But I didn't think it likely that I descended directly from "The Bruce" (not that I'd mind).
I'm aware of only one legitimate child of his, Marjorie. According to wikitree, I descended from both, his supposed illegitimate son Robert, who later became Robert of Clackmannan and his legitimate daughter Marjorie. I guess each is the distant gr, grandparent from two different branches.
I was of the belief those profiles are handled with care. And the sources are thoroughly checked.
Is there any simple way to find out if the connections are accurate? I'd check myself, but I am struggling to find sources from the 18th century.
