how can i restart a new tree on the same account/

Question

the reason I ask is , on my moms side it thinks its my great grandmother Josephine is my first and now it has it as my first. Now my grandmother phyills is the proper name . and its like it whipped out her mom and dad and everything . I tried everything . I wish you can put a delete button on it so it can be fixed . I have all the information.  but it wont let me correct it can u please help?

Go to your mother's profile

Hit the Edit tab

Hit [edit mother] at the right hand side

Scroll down and hit the Remove button.  Or, put in the right details for your grandmother.  (You won't lose Josephine, she'll still be there in the right place.)

Type Morgan-13643 in the first box on the form.  Ignore the other boxes and Save.

I have  little trouble understanding your wording.  "first" what? I assume by Whipped out you mean eliminated?  But it's clear from your Family Tree &Tools that you have Josephine Mizener-16 as John's mother and wife both.  So do what RJ says and disconnect her from whichever connection is wrong and that should fix things, though you may want to see if the actual mother or spouse will appear in the correct place or are also connected wrongly or haven't been entered yet or what.  It looks like you've been pretty busy entering profiles but haven't done much on G2G, so you might want to read some of the other threads here and ask more questions and catch on to some of the tricks to solving problems on WikiTree.  It may seem a waste of time just reading and  chatting, but in the long run it will pay off.

Just to add - you can't start a NEW tree. There is only one tree - Wikitree. Everything is a part of that.
