Resource in French about some of 1st French-Canadian Settlers related to Filles Du Roi

+5 votes

I started researching information for DesJardins in my family and I found this website that has a huge list of genealogy information about various European settler families in Quebec related to "Filles Du Roi".

I wonder if there would be a way to convert these pages into the wiki or if they all have to be manually added?

There's also valuable stories about the first members of each family tree that are in French, if folks would like to add them as-is to already created profiles or translate some?

I'll try doing bits and pieces, but this seems like it can become a big project, if anyone wants to take the lead on this information. :)

Thank you!

These appear to be only certain families, genealogies of them, with only the first ancestor (male) being given a brief bio. The sources are not cited, so it would at best be a secondary source.  There are also some statements  made about the filles du roy which appear to be somewhat mythical, such as that the majority came from hospitals  Not proven.
