Seeking information on my Paternal Grandfather's family of James Odnell-MERRICK

Question

Trying to trace paternal great grandparents.. Whom are the parents of James Odnell-MERRICK born in Islington Middlesex London in 1907, my Grandfather died on Canvey Island Essex in 1997.
His mother was a chorus girl named Ezabell Carroll, Odnell-Merrick  or Ddell-Merrick.
They lived in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire and Islington London

According to the 1911 census they were

Frederick Thomas O Merrick b. 1883 and Ezebell Dalerson Douglass b. 1885.

or there is another possible Thomas b. 1871 and Elenor b. 1875.

I could pin it down if you know of James' siblings.

Thank you for that,  i was told my Great Grandfather wife was very much younger than him and that she was a "chorus girl", out living him, by miles. Infact i met her when i was a child,  I'm now 60.
My great Grandfather's family disapproved of thier Marrage (could all be a redherring).  I was also told he was. Jewish, and family were unhappy about him marrying out of the faith.
Though none of his or her name are Jewish, maybe his mother???

My Gandfather James Odnell-MERRICK (his unusual family/ middle name of Odnell could have been ONELL)?
I believe James had two brothers GORDON & Charlie Merrick.  And two sisters Edie and Ezebelle ( think she was the youngest).
Maybe the Ezabelle i recall meeting was infact not my Great grandmother, Ezebelle but my grandfathers younger sister, of the same name?

Yes, that's the first family I mentioned. I checked the birth dates (FreeBMD) and they are right. Frederick died Dartford area 1952. Can't find Ezebell.
