I would love to join the project. My ancestor William Ash came to Toronto, Ontario from Ireland probably sometime around 1838. He married Anna Maria Marks in Toronto. While in Toronto (York), he was a leather maker. He moved to Eticoke (sp?), Ontario and then later to Uxbridge, Ontario. His wife, Anna Maria was pregnant with their fifth child when Willian died in a horse related accident. We believe he was 30 when he died. We have not been able to find his burial record or his grave. His wife remarried a year after he died to John Atwell and moved to Middlesex, Ontario where they farmed. William Ash's information has faded into time. We have no record of who his parents were in Ireland. We believe his family lived in Armagh, Northern Ireland and that his father was a Rev. in the Church of Ireland.
