I am looking for the mother, grandparents, and California relatives of Amos C Anderson. US Census says he was born about 1824 in the State of New York. He died in Lyonsdale, El Dorado County, California, 15 August 1866. He is buried in the old Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, CA, alongside William C Anderson. Before California, he had lived in Ohio and Green County, Wisconsin. He traveled to California around 1860 by wagon train. After his death, his wife, Mary Ann (Thompson) Anderson and daughter (Sarah Elizabeth (Anderson) Janes) returned to Wisconsin by ship and train.
