Elting or Eltinge?

I'm thinking that Elting is the way to go (between Elting-3 and Eltinge-5).

What swayed me:

If anyone has "druthers" please post.  See also http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:New_Netherland_Settlers#Project_Protected_Profiles

Comments before July 1 please.

Thanks, Liz

I had always used Elting until I came across the most recent book on the Eltings: James W. Elting, comp., The Descendants of Jan Eltinge: The Genealogy of the Elting/Eltinge Family, (Charlotte, N.C.: the compiler, 2002),  But frankly, while this book is a nice compendium of descendants, the research is not great, so I don't see any reason to think Eltinge is preferable.
