Why can't I see the email entry field on profiles that I manage in order to send an invitation to a family member?

When you click on the Edit tab of a profile, the field for e-mail address is at the very end of the 'Edit Data' section.  There is a link with the field that you can use to cause an invitation to be sent.  If you're not able to locate it for some reason, please post again and indicate a sample profile that you're  having a problem with, so someone can take a look.

Note that the e-mail field would not be present for a deceased person.  If there is an entry for date of death, you wouldn't expect to find that field.

Great answer, I did not know the death of a person removed the email option. There will be occasions when a new manager for a deceased person is to be invited who is not a member of wikitree and would only be interested in being a manager of a deceased parent's profile.
I don't think there's any way to become a profile manager without first becoming a member of WikiTree and establishing an account.  The intent of the e-mail field is to enter the address of the subject of that profile, and then an invitation to join can be sent to that person.  So, not having that option for the deceased makes sense, right?  The deceased don't e-mail (but perhaps some of them do vote in elections, I don't know)!
You don't add someone email to profiles that you want them to manage.

Email addresses are for active WikiTree members -- you would add it to their own profile (if they are not already a member)

That being said, you can add someone to the Trusted list of another profile by adding their email -- see the Privacy tab.
