Garvey-44 will not let me adopt this orphan profile. How do I get this fixed.

Question

This orphan profile says it is not public and will not let me adopt it.  It appears the originator closed out his account.  Garvey-44 is part of my tree so I would like to adopt the profile.

I've tagged this so that one of our Team members will see it. They should be able to get the privacy level opened up so you can adopt it.

From the comment you posted there , It looks like you want to change the profile 's name and to another gender and different person entirely ?

Also the reason you can't adopt it is because of the privacy setting.

There looks like another problem. The child (James Guignon)  of this person (Joseph Garvey) was born 150 years prior to the linked parent. I also see this comes from the maltby.ged-- almost as infamous as the DeCoursey.ged...

The privacy level has been changed to open. There were some incorrect connections. I have removed Guignon-27 as a child (Garvey-44 was showing as the mother of Guignon-27)
