Missing gender error for babies

What can be done about "missing gender" errors when it is for an unnamed child whose birth is known but gender is not?  It shows up as a 509 missing gender error which technically is correct, but most likely it will never be resolved.  I have a half dozen or so of these in my family line. I feel it is important to acknowledge the births.  Perhaps one day another descendant will be able to fill in the information. Do I need to click on false error or just hide it every month or just ignore that it is on the error report altogether.?

If you click on link on name, you can see frequencies of used names. http://wikitree.sdms.si/function/WTWebNameDistribution/errors.htm?FirstName=Unnamed%20Infant&MaxNames=100

As you can see Unnamed or Unnamed Infant are most common usages.
I woulld like to see the check finetuned like this:

If death date=birth date and first name contains unknown or unnamed don't raise error
That probably would keep most of the unnamed children off the error list.  I like that idea.
I could also removed all unnamed infants, but maybe gender is known.
True, but then the true errors wouldn't be caught. I guess I'll just click on false error on the ones with no known gender.
How come I don't have the option of choosing "false error" on my db_errors?
Not all errors can be marked as false error. Which error and profile are you talking about?
We need to accept the infant as the gender. That is the only way7 to solve this error.

I would just click on "false error." If in the future someone can locate more information about these children, it can be added then.

Me too.

Errors from the report are not meant to sit there calling shame upon the profile manager forever. They are better viewed as a request to check on something; in this case to check that the gender choice was not just forgotten.
Thanks,  Shirley and Eva.  I will do that.

I use the "false error" IF, and that's a BIG IF, I find a record of the child's birth or death, but the sex is NOT given. Also, the DOD=DOB test won't always work on many profiles because the child's birth might not be noted, but the death is.

If only death is given on an infant then  the birth is the same. If they last more than a month, it is usually indicated.
