Yes, he did. The name continued down my line until my great grandmother's generation, but her brother Christopher Dive, died young. Other lines kept the name going too. Those lines would be in Sussex still, I imagine. Ours came to Australia, a number of cousins and half brothers on several ships, as free immigrants.
