Seeking Robert Pratt of New York State

Question

Hi there.
My name is Devin Pratt.  I was born on March 31st, 1984 in Oswego, NY to a man named Robert Pratt and my mother Jill.  Within a years time, my mother and biological father divorced - my mother went to Connecticut (my current residence) and I have never seen my father since.

Long story short, I am desperately seeking information about my father's side of the family.  I have no idea why exactly, but over the last few years I have grown more and more curious about seeking a potential unknown family.

Trouble is, I have VERY little to work off of; I know that my parents were in the Oswego/Fulton area of New York state, my father was apparently in the Navy and worked as a manager for a Wendy's.

Hi Devin - what is your mother's maiden name?  I am trying to find their marriage details.    Do you know where they got married?  I have found a couple of marriages of a Robert Pratt to a Jill but neither one is in NY.

Understandable, but to be honest I'm a little hesitant to give that out.  No offense to anyone here, I just get a little nervous since it's like the top security question folks ask.
