Guests and error reports

In the last month, we have seen people working on error reports who have been posting missing gender comments on the profiles of Guests to WikiTree. These Guests have not yet finished entering their information and have not even decided if they want to become a member of WikiTree. I do feel that posting such a message could be a deterrent to their deciding to join us.

It would be appreciated if work regarding guests is left to the Greeters whose job it is to welcome them to WikiTree and encourage them and help them to join us.

I'd even be fine if these were excluded from results as they are not really actionable given your point.

I agree. I think they are never connected to global tree and usually most data is missing. I am not sure if I can identify them with data in current dump. I will have another look.

Wouldnt it be best to get some statistics of the profile managers not just Guests?

Some filtering functions and/or a color code/mouse over so you fast find if this users is active or this user has stopped using WikiTree

  1. Typ of user
    1. Guest
    2. Wiki Genealogist
    3. Family member
    4. Leader
    5. Leader Emeritus
  2. Last time active
    1. Not active the last 3 years
    2. Number of entries the last 3 months
    3. Thanks received the last 12 months
    4. ....
  3. Merge requests outstanding
    1. Dont react on merge request the last year
