Can I change the parents of a project protected profile?

It is obvious that she is not connected to the right parents because they were born almost two centuries before she was.  What is not so obvious is who is the person who assigned the project protected profile.  The profile is available for adoption.

I removed the parents, but I didn't replace them as requested because I can't see how a woman with LNAB of Lancaster was the daughter of a man named Lansdale.

That profile was protected a very long time ago. The former leader who protected is still on the trusted list. You could contact her to find out why it was protected.

Thank you, Ellen.  For future reference, how does one determine who the leader of the project associated with the project protected profile is?  I did not see anything under the changes tab.
Additions and removals of project protection appear in the changes list as  "edited the Locked Status".
By the way, I found some sources for christenings of some sons, and added them to her profile. I have not found any sources to confirm her birth, marriage, or maiden name.

Why is this a PPP and for which project?

The PPP should be removed and the profile allowed to develop freely.

There isn't reason why the profile can't develop freely, PPP or not. Only parents can't be added and she can't be merged away. If well-sourced parents are added to the bio, then I'm sure someone will be happy to add them.
Limited development only Anne.

But why the PPP and for which project?
As I commented above, that profile was protected a very long time ago (in 2012). Protection was added before current protocols and policies were in place. Maybe the former leader who protected it will be able to remember why, but to find out you'd have to ask her.
