Could the page number links be added to the top of G2G threads

Question

Some of the challenge threads quickly go to multiple pages. The links to the following pages are always at the very bottom. Some forums that I have participated in had the page links just under the first post AND at the bottom of the page.

Does this forum software have an option to display the page links at the top also? If so, could that option be turned on please.

Hi Debi,

We can look at that, but we generally don't modify this forum software very much. We've used an open source system rather than one we built from the ground up. This means we're less likely to make modifications here than in other areas of WikiTree.

By the way, I saw you mention the "tech" tag elsewhere. So far as I know, nobody follows that tag. I see most of the significant messages in the WikiTree Tech category, regardless of their tags.

really? it seems to be a popular tag, so I've been following it too.

maybe a tag librarian should remove it then (do we have a tab librarian?)

If you're following it, that's probably reason enough for someone hoping to get a good answer to use it.

We do need to be a little clearer about tag usage and encourage our G2G moderators to help.

Thanks Chris, and I'll keep the Tech tag thing in mind.

That raises the question "Are any tags monitored?" If so, is there a list anywhere? I've recommended other tags (Mentor is the one that comes to mind) at times and hope I haven't raised false expectations.
