looking for catherine mehegan married to david crowley 1829, cork

Question

my great grandfather James David Crowley b. 1843 stated on his official papers that  his mother and father were Catherine Mehigan and David Crowley, but i cannot find them in the records....other than a church record of marriage 1829, kilbrittain, kilbrogan, desert serges, bandon, cork.  these records do not seem to match up other further searching.  thanking you

Hi Frank...thanks for all the messages you sent to my queries but i still cannot decide whether this is the right family for my ancestor.....

my ancestor stated on his death ceretificate his parents were:

David Crowley

Catherine Mehegan

IRELAND

i have baptism dates for children of David Crowley & Catherine Mehegan, but when i try to research them by their dates, they come up with different parents.  Anyway thanks very much for your help.
