Do tell us more. Can you give some estimated years for births in these families? Estimated years when one married another? Narrow this down and we can be helpful!

I did a quick search on FamilySearch.org for a Phelps marrying a Taylor in KY. Up came fifteen entries for marriages with dates from 1822 - 1905. Maybe one of them is yours.... -NGP
