Ancestry of George Edwin Johnston

Question

I am trying to find information about my paternal grandparents.  George Edwin Johnston was married to Margaret Roche (Roach) from Springfield MA area.  Margaret had some ties to the Truden family of Norfolk, MA.  George was in WWI as I have a copy of his draft card but I have no information dating any further back.
