I think I am related to the first Robert Moore, the one who married Elizabeth Cannon.  Their son James is my great grandfather.  I have more information about the Moores, but have not been able to find anything else about Elizabeth.  I may try searching for her other children and see if I can dig anything up that way.
Hi, I am related through daug.  Mary Sarah Moore who married Henry Amasa Grigg. I do have some info on all of the children, but I to have not found anymore on Elizabeth. Not even sure Cannon is the right maiden name, but thats all I have to work on now. Can't seem to prove that either. If you find anything let me know. Maybe one of the children lived long enough to have a death cert. or maybe a obit, would be nice to find. Linda
Thanks for sharing the name of Mary Sarah's spouse.  Since I'm having a hard time figuring out distant relatives, I'm trying to fill in spouses and children.  You never know when you will find someone else that is related!
I just found this information on Ancestry.com.  You may already have it, but just in case you don't, here it is.

2. Eliza, age 14

3. Carey, age 18

4. Robert, age 11

I also found information stating that Carey C. married Elizabeth Ruth Lee and Robert J married Sarah Vines.  I need to follow up on Carey since I have some other Lee relatives in my tree.
Hi, there are some mistakes out there in research land..first  this Robert Moore did not die in 1888. He died between 1851 and 1860, he may have died in Tn, but could have moved to Ark and died there, they moved to Ark. about 1854 along with the Grigg family. He was in the 1850 cen. Tn, but Elizabeth wasa widow in 1860 census Ark. so that pins his death date during that time. The son Marcow, is Marion, he never married. No son named Hiram.,he belonged to another Moore family....

Thanks for the additional information.  I had most of it, except for the information about Robert Moore's wife.  Now I need to update my family tree.
Also, someone sent me a link to information about Elizabeth Cannon from familysearch.org.  I haven't had time yet to update my family tree here.  I have several of her ancestors traced back another 6 generations.  I will try to bring my WikiTree up to date this week.
Did you ever locate your information on Elizabeth Cannon?  I am a descent of her son, James Robert Moore.  Thank you in advance.
