Where is ANY proof of Daniel Pearson Holman, b 1785 NC?

Question

MY ancestor, Daniel Pearson Holman, b 1821, is in 35 years of genealogy research the only Daniel Pearson Holman that I have come across.  He married in 1842 in Lincoln County, TN to Mary Anderson, from Howard Co., MO.  My brick wall is MY Daniel Pearson Holman's father, so that is why I am interested.  Thank you.
