Birth and imigration records of Alice May Morrison b 1900 Edinburgh Scotland and d 10 June 1993

Question

I am looking to find the arrival in the USA from Scotland of Alice May Morrison, born Edinburgh, Scotland 13 May 1900. Her occupation was Tailoress.  I have her mighigan Passenger list record showing arrival 12 August 1950 Port Huron Michigan.  last residence listed as Detroit Michigan.  I have found her US social security number  SSN380-30-3109 and heath 10 June 1993 Place of Death Warren Macomb.  I found this information out using Ancestry but cannot identify her birth in Edinburgh or her passage to the USA.  Is someone able to assist me please.  Thank you.

Then there is a Joan Morrison,Hand Writing so bad cannot make out who she is.Looks like Robert Morrison is a Shoe maker,but that is also

difficult to read.

From viewing various census documents from 1901, I have established that Joan (or Johnan or Jane) Morrison was Robert Morrison's wife.  Obviously she had bad handwriting so this probably accounts for it being recorded in various forms over different census??

Hi Wayne, many thanks for the information on the Birth details of Alice May Morrison.  I had identified Robert MORRISON Shoemaker (using the 1901 census) where AM morrison is recorded as May Morrison so it was great to get confirmation of her actual birth details and her father being the one I had "assumed" but had no proof of.

She died in Michigan under the surname Morrison.  Obviously never got married in her 93 years!!  Did you find anything that showed her original departure from Scotland to the United States?
