So far Lewis Hine has been turned into a real profile complete with pictures...but he has yet to be connected to the rest of us although we know that his wife was from the Rich family...several Wikitreers are also active members of that family. Can he be connected? He can't be far away...maybe you know someone who knows someone...

Thank you Dorothy. I am hoping as well that someone can make the connection of Mr. Hine to the tree.
Thanks, Rod! Joe made it nicely, so he's now connected...onward and upward. Thanks for all you do.

According to trees on Ancestry.com...  He connects to the Great Migration immigrant Thomas Hine  like this:

Thomas Hine (1621-1698) m. Elizabeth Lane

John Hine (1655-1739) m. Mary Finn

John Hine (1686- 1777) m. Mehitable Waters

Isaac Hine (1730-1809) m. Ann Bristol

Isaac Hine (1765-1825) m. Rhoda Wright

Lewis Hine (1792-1854) m. Sarah Nancy Hull

Douglas Hull Hine (1829-1892) m. Sarah Hayes

Lewis Wickes Hine (1874-1940)

The ancestry.com trees appear reasonably well-researched with sources and are internally consistent.  Obviously, an online tree like this should not be considered proof of each generation, but hopefully this provides enough clues for you to find the primary sources to prove the line.
