Two profiles for the wife of James Cumming and conflict of who his parents are.

Simone recently uploaded a GEDcom and it seems we have a conflict for parents and two profiles for his wife Jean Stevenson. One from me and one from Simone.

Simone has said she has sources from Family search for the parents of James Cummings, as John Cummings and Agnes Thompson. I also have added sources for the parents of James Cummings being James Cummings and Anna Alves, sourced from Ancestry.com

Needing a opinion regarding this, Cheers Sandra.

IGI user-contribs show a James the son of John and Agnes (Thomson), but in Lanarkshire in 1742.
That certainly not the same person. As this James Cummings was born 1726.

My James was born in 1726 Edinburgh Midlothian Scotland. to James Cummings and Ann Alves. Bit of a mess to sort.
Seriously this GEDcom upload and merge has made a huge mess, and at this time I do not have time to sort it. Could someone PLEASE correct the many mistakes that have taken place in this merge ? Sandra. I have tried but just not enough time at this moment ..Cheers .
Did some cleanup. Please be sure not to remove the <references /> tag under the == Sources == header.
O.K ..thanks Jillaine. I am pushing for time and hence making my own mistakes by removing tags..sorry. Thanks for the help !  Sandra.
