Shared Photo: Stuart at his trap line

+11 votes

Stuart Pozzi sent this photo to his sister, Annie. He had lived his early life in Dublin, Ireland. Orphaned at 14, little is known of his life until he accompanied Annie on their journey to Manitoba in 1908. He set out on his own, and once he found work in northern Alberta, remained there except for WWI service. His photos show a man who reveled in the outdoor life there.

Location: Bear Creek, half way between Fort Vermilion and Vermilion Chutes in the far north of Alberta. Date: 1924
