If I know that I am a descendant of Hans Brubaker but don't know the lineage, is there an easy way for me to trace it?

Have you searched under the surnames for him, just in case someone here on Wikitree has the same ancestor? Have you checked rootsweb, ancestry or family search? How about USGENWEB under Lancaster Co PA?
