Richard Walter Weaver d.Dec 7th 1941 aboard the Arizona

Clay Cooper Rector also died on Dec 7th 1941 aboard the Arizona

They may not have known each other but they descended from the Germanna colony in Virginia. The Germanna Foundation sent out an email about their ancestry. I could not find them on wikitree, so if they belong to anyones family let me know and I'll send you the information

"Their families were related through the Germanna Broyles, Majer and Volck families. Richard also was a member of the Broyles, Finks, Fleischmann, Schön, Wayland families, while his cousin Clay also descended from the Germanna Bach, Fishback, Heimbach, Hitt, Hofmann, Otterbach, Rector, Rouse, and Ruop families."       http://germanna.org/   Germanna also has a Facebook page
