Looking for information on my grandmother's birthparents Joanne Linda Merry 1946

Question

Looking for information on my grandmother's birthparents , my grandmother was adopted from relatives, her adoptive parents were Earl and Hazel Merry and I think her biological parents were Merry as well. It was in 1946 in Orono, Maine.

Earl J Merry He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Moulton) Merry; daughter, Joanne and David Whitehouse of Ormand Beach, FL;

Birth:  Sep. 13, 1918 Death:  Jan. 20, 2000 Earl J. Merry, 81, of Searsport, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 20, 2000. He was born Sept. 13, 1918, in Thorndike, the son of John H. and Sadie J. (Dyer) Merry. During World War II, he worked in the Portland Shipyard. Later he raised poultry for 25 years for Maplewood Poultry and Penobscot Poultry companies. He and his wife, Hazel, owned and operated Treasures and Trash Antiques in Searsport for 37 years, retiring in the fall of 1999. He attended Faith Temple Church of God in Belfast.  He was predeceased by his brothers, John and Elwood Merry. He is survived by his wife, Hazel (Moulton) Merry; daughter, Joanne and David Whitehouse of Ormand Beach, FL; former son-in-law, Basil Philbrick; three grandchildren, Tracy & David James, Scott Philbrick and Korey Philbrick, all of Florida; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters Marie & Alex Opdahl of Monroe, Ina Moulton of Knox, and Millie & Lloyd Sylvester of Searsport, and Ruthie Robbins of Belfast; brother, Ervin & Faustina Merry of Belfast; 3 sisters-in-law, Martha Tweedie, Barbara Nickerson and Delores Merry; brother-in-law, Fred Berry; special nephew, Norman Moulton and his wife, Betty; hundreds of other nieces and nephews. He will be interred at Smart Cemetery in Belfast. Thank you very much for all that information! But, I am looking for informatuon on my grandmother's biological parents. She is Earl's adopted daughter and has also passed away, but the family is still in search for them. She was told as a child Earl and Hazel adopted her from a family member that had too many kids to care for.
