Could someone with access to help me out, please?

I couldn't afford the subscription. Loved the free trial; I could spend years reading through all the old town business. I found so much!

Anyways, I needed this looked up. A screenshot would be great, if it's not too much trouble. (Can you even do that, here? If you clip it could I find it on ancestry?) I think this may be my great grandfather's obituary. His name was spelled differently almost every time it was printed. Andrew Seamon (Simyon was also used; the link appears to show a new variation). Wife Pauline.

If the link doesn't work, I'm looking for the death of Andrew Seamon in the Oct. 10, 1929 issue of the Scranton Republican. Pennsylvania.

Thank you!
My pleasure! Is that your guy?
Yes, it is! I can't imagine having my name spelled differently every time. I don't think his wife could read english, but the children must have been very upset. Pauline (Zayac) was six months pregnant with my grandfather at the time of his death. I had assumed it must have been a mining accident, but as it turns out he had left the mining job for a janitorial position in the school, then contracted pneumonia.

I found the death certificate after looking for a year! Which is why I just had to find an obituary (was hoping he had a sibling listed...looking for a Helen that may or may not exist). He had been typed in as "Simyaw" instead of Simyon.

The "Slovak" surnames are throwing me for a loop. Along with the geography! The boarders on the countries changed so much, I have no clue where anyone came from. I'm starting to think they may not have known, themselves!
