I am researching a 'Heath' and 'Garencieres Pearson' family history. In a diary written by one familly member it mentions that there is supposed to be a connection from them to Pocahontas/Rolfe descendents. As a son of Frances Alice Rolfe and Joseph Everett named Arthur Joseph Everett marries a Mary Lily Heath in my tree, I'm wondering if Frances Alice Rolfe could be the connection to Pocahontas and John Rolfe. Does anyone have any information please? Many thanks, Gillian

It would appear that Pochantas had only one child - Thomas - who had only one daughter -Jane who married Robert  Bolling - so the direct descendants would have been named Bolling, although that doesn't preclude a Bolling eventually marrying another Rolfe at some later point.  Your query will probably require much more extensive searching.

Thomas Rolfe (January 30, 1615 – 1680) was the only child of Pocahontas by her English husband, John Rolfe. His maternal grandfather was Wahunsunacock, the chief of Powhatan tribe in Virginia.

Thomas married Elizabeth Washington in September 1632 at St James's Church, Clerkenwell and they had a daughter named Jane in 1633. Elizabeth died shortly after Jane's birth.

Robert Bolling and Jane Rolfe Bolling had one child; their son John was born January 26, 1676.

John Bolling married Mary Kennon (1679–1727), daughter of Richard Kennon and Elizabeth Worsham, on December 29, 1697. They had at least six children, whose names appear in John Bolling's will:[1]

  • John Bolling Jr. (1700–1757) married Elizabeth Bland Blair (who was the niece of James Blair, the first president of The College of William & Mary) on August 1, 1728 and had seven children, including John Bolling, who married Mary Jefferson, the sister of United States President Thomas Jefferson.[2]
  • Jane Bolling (1703–1766) married Colonel Richard Randolph in 1714 or 1720 and had six children.[2][3][4]
  • Elizabeth Bolling (b. 1709), married William Gay of Scotland and had three children.[2]
  • Mary Bolling (1711–1744), married John Fleming and had six children.[2]
  • Martha Bolling (1713–1737), married Thomas Eldridge in 1729 and had four children.[2]
  • Anne Bolling (1718–1800), married James Murray and had six children.[2]

John Bolling Jr.'s son, Major Thomas Bolling (1735–1804) married his cousin, Elizabeth Gay on November 24, 1757. Their son, William Bolling (1777–1845) married Richard Randolph II's daughter, Mary Randolph on February 23, 1798.

John Bolling III's son, Archibald married Archibald Cary's daughter, Sarah on February 2, 1770. They had three daughters. Four years later, he married Mary Randolph's sister, Jane. They had a few children. He married Catherine Payne on November 5, 1801. They had one son.
