Should the parents of John Tucker of Hingham & Watertown be removed? [closed]

According to the article about John Tucker in Robert Charles Anderson's "The Great Migration" Vol VII, pages 118-122, John Tucker's origin is unknown. Does anyone object to removing the parents currently attached to him, removing his birth location of Gravesend, Kent, and changing his birth year to 'about 1611' in accordance with Anderson?

It looks to me like the removal of the parents and birth location and correction of the birthdate are well-justified. You've nicely documented the situation in the profile.

There's just one thing that bothers me, and that's tying up the loose ends related to the disconnected parents. The profile explains why he's not the son of George Tucker of Milton, Gravesend, Kent, but George is not the father attached to the profile. The parents currently attached are Richard Tucker and Elizabeth (Warren) Tucker of Gravesend, Kent -- and Richard is allegedly born in Slogumber, Somerset. I've been looking for clues as to the origin of the notion that these people are parents of John Tucker (I thought that they might have been identified in an old publication, and I wanted the profile to cite that source and discuss why they aren't his parents), but I've had no luck. The profiles for Richard and his wife cite an Ancestry Family Tree that cites as its source the OneWorldTree, which is itself unsourced, and I found one online family tree page (no sources cited) that's consistent with these profiles. However, I've not found any other documentation for the existence of either Richard Tucker or his wife Elizabeth (Warren) Tucker. So I would disconnect them from John Tucker, add the {{Questionable}} template to both parents' profiles, and link to this thread from both profiles.

Ellen, can you take a look and see if this has been resolved following your recommendations?
Kay nicely took care of the needed changes that were outlined here. I just did a little more editing for esthetics. All is good, in my opinion.
