How do I merge my Richard A Green family on WikiTree to William Green Jr family?

As a Guest Member, you cannot merge profiles. You will need to complete your registration by becoming a Volunteer and signing the Honor Code.

Once you've become a full member, you can add your family tree and do all the fun stuff available here at WikiTree!!

As for merging Richard A Green (yourself?) to a William Green Jr, perhaps you are meaning to connect two family members? If so, I believe you still need to be a full member to connect existing profiles.

Merging is done whenever 2 or more profiles exist for the same person; the profiles are combined until only one profile remains for that person. Since Richard and William appear to be 2 different persons, you do not want to merge their profiles.

If you decide to become a full member, just complete the remaining steps in my first paragraph (there are also links in the yellowish box on your profile page). Let us know if you have any trouble with the process!

Can you give us some information about when and where they lived?  You won't, most likely have to do what we call a merge here on Wikitree.  You will just have to attach the parts of the tree you want to add here to the existing tree here  and then add any additional sources, etc. to the existing profiles.  You can convert the other tree to a GEDcom and them upload it here, though you do have to look at all the profiles in the new tree and skip them if the same person is already here on WikiTree.  Most of us, after trying this vow never to do it again.  But that's just a warning, not a prescription.  If perchance your Greens lived in Licking County, Ohio, I have a lot of relatives, though not ancestors, who married Greens there.  Good luck here and have fun.
